They do look nice , but be aware that the color shown in the picture is NOT what it looks like. The actual color of this Espresso looks almost black. [...] Also, they scratch very easily.



They are sturdy and are just the right size for my room.

This was bought to replace my 4D Concepts magazine end table I had purchased prior to the holidays. While this Ashley End table is more expensive (at least as listed on Amazon), it is also more effective at it's price point. The slate has a cleaner appearance, better finish, and more vibrant color. Assembly was a minor hassle - moreso than the 4D Concepts end table - but the end product is sturdier, with a better appearance. The dimensions are also more logical, and it happens to match well with both my central coffee table (an Ashley product) and my slate kitchen-area table (not Ashley).



My advice is to pay the extra money and buy this higher quality end table, at least as compared with the 4D Concepts end table. That 4D Concepts table now has a more functional role in a less visible part of my living area.

This little table unfolds from what is basically a wooden suitcase that you can store anywhere - I fold it up and store it under my futon couch when I need the extra space in my tiny studio.



Unfolding it to create the table, and re-folding it to put it away are both really easy. When unfolded, it is a very attractive little table - friends who have come over have been really surprised that it folds up because they didn't even notice the small hinges on the legs! When folded up, it just looks like a small wooden box; you'd never know it's a table.



Perhaps the main caveat is that you can't put more than 75 pounds on this table - the hinges on the legs would buckle under that kind of weight. But I put my feet up on it all the time and its no problem.



This little table is a great versatile and space-saving addition to my small living space!

The materials are great but the assembly on my two tables went very poorly. I had to inject glue into some of the joints or the table would fall apart. With the extra attention they are OK but I would not recommend this product to anyone.

This is a nice espresso finish sofa table. It has two drawers that each have two pull handles. The pull handles are a silver nickel color. Notice the design in the legs and edge of the table, this is made of mostly solid wood done in an espresso finish. Please take a look at the additional pictures for close-ups of the drawers.

Dimensions are:

The drawers measure 17 3/4" long on the inside, 14" wide and 3 1/4" deep. The pull handles are 1 3/4" wide.

This is a nicely finished, beautifully proportioned piece. Exactly what I needed. I have no idea what purpose is served by the pivoting top. The space inside is barely an inch deep. So maybe it's a good place for hiding drugs or safety pins. Certainly not a selling point. In spite of having rather cryptic instructions, the table is easy to assemble. Just be careful not to overtighten screws on the shelves. The shelves are made of Masonite (something like cardboard), and although they look very nice, they are easily damaged. The top and legs seem to be genuine wood, and with some care, I expect, in the years to come, the table will be something more than disposable, and something less than an heirloom.
